The VMC‑MD3 family of cables connects select Sony Cyber‑shot cameras to a computer for USB data transfer and, in some models, to a TV for composite A/V playback. Both versions share the same Sony Multi‑Terminal Type 3 plug on the camera side, but differ in their host‑side breakouts.
